Kevin Gardiner | Real Estate & Urban Design
Kevin Gardiner brings something virtually no other real estate agent can offer; he has spent his career shaping the cities he now helps clients navigate. With a double master’s degree in architecture and city planning, years in city government, and a distinguished career as an urban planning and urban design consultant, Kevin doesn’t just know real estate; he understands the forces that drive it.
Since earning his real estate license in 1999, Kevin has worked as a full-time agent while
maintaining a parallel career that has given him an extraordinary vantage point. He has sat at the planning table where zoning decisions are made, advised municipalities on design policy, and consulted on the kinds of urban projects that reshape neighborhoods and redefine value. Uniquely, Kevin has worked with developers from both sides of the table, as their agent and as their planning consultant, giving him an insider’s understanding of how development decisions get made and what they mean for a market.
That depth of experience translates directly into sharper insight for his clients on everything from development potential and entitlement risk to long-range neighborhood trajectory.
Kevin’s academic foundation in architecture informs how he sees a property. He reads a building the way a designer does, understanding structure, proportion, and possibility, while his planning background helps him assess a location the way a city builder would. It is a combination that serves buyers and sellers alike in ways that go well beyond the transaction.
Where other agents offer market knowledge, Kevin offers something rarer: a comprehensive, professional understanding of how cities are built, governed, and transformed and what that means for the value of your investment today and tomorrow. Working together with Matt Flynn, Kevin and Matt are able to provide clients with a sophisticated understanding of both property and neighborhood value.
